I was drawn to the work of Jonathan Adler. He did not start designing furnitures until 2002, he started with the design of pottery since he was a young boy. He joined the Reality TV, Bravo family as the lead judge on the television series "Top Design" and that was in 2007. He went to Brown but spend most of his time at RISD making pots. He started to open stores in Miami, Chicago, Madison avenue and San Francisco with his widely expands funitures line with even more glamorous upholstered groups and casegoods. He also writes first deign book, which make his Jewish mother very proud. I was inspired by Jonathan's use of colors in his funiture and the designs he put on them.. it make his furnitures stand out. The colors and shapes that he put on his furnitures seem like they would goes with the mood of the room. Therefore i would like to use the same feelings and the same use of colors in my objects to make the spaces standout and the design look rich and modern.
Hello, welocme to my blog! Here is something that you would like to know about me. I was adopted from Cambodia when i was eight years old. I have three biological sisters and a brother, who is not my biological brother but he is also adopted. I am now a Junior at Victor High School, who loves art and enrolled in alot of art classes, Studio art, Drawing and painting one and two and i am now currently taking IB portfolio and Funtional art.
I used to play alot of sport but now im playing Volleyball and im doing track and field. I love to go shopping " Shopcaholic" and in my spear times i read and doodle in my sketch books, which i have a ton by the way. I aslo have a job, which mean that i am a busy person and still try to have fun at the same.
I don't really have people that inspiral me ( i know it's bad), but i look up to my teachers because they help me through alot of things and help me inprove my skills in what i do. Also my friends, they are always there for me no matter what the situation is, they are there and help me gets through. My goals for this blog is to show what i got as designer and an artist. Also i would like my blog to be place where others may read and look at what i got to show them, also to get a contructive feedback to help me inprove my skills throughout my high school years and later on in life.
